I like to review fitness equipment and fitness machines, which strike me as being different and better for you than traditional weights machines and dumbbells. And when I find equipment which offers a full and complete workout, I have a burned desire to find out more about it and share what I know about it it. The Chuck Norris weights machine is one of those machines.

Keeping your body in great shape is fundamental. And you can achieve in two possible ways - by exercising regularly and by eating a high protein and low fat diet.

I have exercised and practically lived in gyms most of my adult life, working out with weights and doing various forms of cardiovascular exercises. I was up in the hills mountain biking in my early twenties, then as I got older I preferred using cardio machines and exercise bikes in a gym. I looked at doing Pilates, but it wasn't for me. When I was twenty one years old, I was heavily into bodybuilding and lifting heavy weights, because that was the type of gym I trained in. And it took me very little time to gain a huge amount of muscle mass and become very strong.

But nowadays, I wish I hadn't used such heavy weights, really because I never had the joints for it - but never knew until it was too late! That is why I wish I had known about low impact fitness machines like the Chuck Norris weights machine, also known as the Total Gym, because after lifting those heavy weights in my early fitness and weight training career, my joints are suffering in a big way!

My knees give me the most pain from squatting and doing leg presses, but it is my shoulder joints that bother me the most, simply because when your shoulder ball joints are inflamed, you can't pick up a dumbbell that a little girl could pick up! The silly weights I used for chest and shoulder workouts has resulted in a lot more than a big chest and good shoulder width.

If that's ever happened to you, you'll know the kind of pain and related problems I'm talking about. And taking time off using weights throws all sorts of complications in to the mix. Not just the obvious physical ones, but you have to consider changing your diet (reducing your calories) while you are not lifting, along with the psychological problems that arise because you can't train properly!

If you don't lower your calorie intake for that period, you'll gain fat pounds, so my best tip here would be to do more cardio while you rest your joints - just to make sure you keep off the flabby stuff!

That's why I love the Chuck Norris weights machine, because it gives you a low impact workout, that rivals any workout you could do in a weights gym. This means you can workout without fear of damaging your knees and shoulders, or any other joint problem you may have. It says something about a piece of fitness equipment, when it was originally intend for use as rehabilitation equipment!

In twenty minutes or less (if that's all you want to do), you can workout on the Chuck Norris weights machine and do a complete workout for you whole body. Of course, you can workout longer if you wish, and the system comes with a number of various exercise routines which you can do for as long as you want to.
